Trivia

This is the third Paramount Pictures film to be distributed, internationally, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures since Popeye (1980), Dragonslayer (1981) and Runaway Bride (1999). However, the DTV feature In Search of Santa (2004) has handled distribution internationally by Paramount Home Entertainment and, initially, domastically by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. Goofs

Gabriel / REV-9's primary mission is to kill Dani Ramos. When Gabriel has commandeered the military aircraft, and catches up to the military aircraft that was commandeered by Grace, Sarah, Dani, and Carl, Gabriel has the perfect opportunity to cause a mid-air collision and wipe everyone out in a fiery plane crash. Instead, Gabriel nudges his aircraft against the one with Grace et. al. on board so he can sneak on to kill Dani directly. This gives the good guys the time and opportunity to get away. It would've been better to cause an immediate mid-air collision and then follow-up afterwards to confirm the kill, as Gabriel surely would've survived the crash. See more »

Sarah Connor: It's not a dream, you moron. It's real. I know the date it happens.
Dr. Silberman: I'm sure it feels very real to you.
Sarah Connor: On August 29, 1997 it's gonna feel pretty fuckin' real to you, too! Anybody not wearing two-million sunblock is gonna ...

Franchise: Terminated
15 January 2020 | by JasonXIXSee all my reviews

This really isn't a sequel to T2. The plot of this movie actually negates the first two movies, only to retell basically the same story. There are some great action sequences, by the story is basically the same as previous Terminator films. Someone from the future is sent back to the past to protect the 'only hope' in the future.

We know from T2 that Skynet is stopped, so Judgment Day never happens. But none of this matters, because a new company called Legion, ends up doing the same thing in the future anyway. Basically, this movie tells us that an AI Judgment Day is inevitable. Even if they stop Legion in this movie, another company can just take its place in any future sequel.
