Whoa - Allison Williams and Logan Browning Actually Learned to Play the Cello For The Perfection

Whoa - Allison Williams and Logan Browning Actually Learned to Play the Cello For The Perfection
Now that Richard Shepard's batsh*t crazy new horror film, The Perfection, is streaming on Netflix, you might have a few questions. Like, first and foremost: what the actual f*ck?! (At least that was my reaction after watching.) And perhaps second: have Allison Williams and Logan Browning secretly been wildly talented cellists all this time? Because the scenes of their musical performances are pretty convincing, to say the least.

Although you likely won't see either of the film's stars challenging Yo-Yo Ma to a riff-off anytime soon, the pair actually did learn how to play the cello for their roles. If you haven't seen the film, Williams plays Charlotte, a troubled musical prodigy who seeks out Elizabeth (Browning), the star cellist of the music conservatory she once attended years earlier. Their encounter sends both musicians down a deeply twisted path of love, violence, and revenge, climaxing with a truly insane ending.

John Krasinski took a trip down memory lane when he visited his alma mater Brown University on Saturday. The 39-year-old actor was tapped to deliver a speech at the school's Baccalaureate ceremony during Commencement and Reunion Weekend. Although he admitted to feeling nervous, it certainly didn't seem that way as he began to impart words of wisdom in an address titled, "What Do I Know?"

His speech emphasized the importance of finding a group of people who inspire you. John used his own experience at the school as an example, saying he immediately tried to find his niche when he first arrived as a mid-year student. "I was one of 32 kids that were not accepted in the Fall with everyone else - thanks, anyway - but rather we came in alone, hungry, and cold in January," he joked. He then shared how he endeavored to find a place in which he belonged.

Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger Finally Reunite in Terminator: Dark Fate's Trailer
Cyborgs beware, because Linda Hamilton is back as Sarah Connor in Terminator: Dark Fate! On May 23, the first official trailer dropped for the upcoming action film, and it looks like the resistance against killer robots is going strong. This time, Sarah is protecting a woman named Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) - a half-human, half-robot who becomes a target of the new Terminator. But it appears as though Sarah will need some help and turn to the original T-800 Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger), who somehow comes back after melting himself in 1991's Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

The sixth installment will pick up where T2: Judgement Day left off, dismissing the three subsequent sequels as occurring in alternate timelines. The new movie will mark Hamilton's return since T2: Judgement Day as well as her reunion with Schwarzenegger and writer/producer James Cameron, who helmed the first two Terminator movies. And with this trio,

Disney's live-action adaptation of Aladdin has several key differences from the original animated tale of a thief with a heart of gold.
