The New Game of Thrones Teaser Makes a Lot More Sense When You Consider This Theory

The New Game of Thrones Teaser Makes a Lot More Sense When You Consider This Theory
After a constant stream of prayers to the Old Gods, the New Gods, the Many-Faced God, the Drowned God, the Lord of Light, and perhaps many more that I'm not thinking of right now, we finally have a new Game of Thrones teaser! In the brand-new footage, Jon Snow and the Stark sisters wander in the crypts below Winterfell. They light upon three statues that look exactly like them, signifying grave danger, perhaps even death in their near future. Jon's torch blows out, and a familiar blanket of ice creeps down the corridor. It's not hard to put two and two together: the Night King and his army have arrived at Winterfell.

Obviously, there's a lot to read into when you simply take the teaser at face value: the Winterfell crypts have been a staple throughout the entire series, popping up here and there to give us clues about what's to come.

Kit Harington's Latest Quotes About the Game of Thrones Finale Have Us Very Worried

Kit Harington's Latest Quotes About the Game of Thrones Finale Have Us Very Worried
Now that Kit Harington has wrapped his role as Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, the British actor has been unafraid of sharing his candid opinions about how the highly anticipated eighth season, which premieres on April 14, concludes. After revealing to GQ Australia that filming the final season drove him and the rest of the cast to the point of crying more than once, and that it seemed "designed to break" them, the 32-year-old's latest comments don't have us feeling any more confident about how things will end for Jon Snow.

Harington sat down on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show and hinted that something about the finale of the final season still really bothers him, telling the host that he's "maybe not happy, but very satisfied" with how the events of the series are resolved. So Where Exactly Is the Emerald Triangle in Netflix's Murder Mountain?

  • Popsugar
If you've watched Netflix's latest binge-worthy true crime series, Murder Mountain, then you're probably wondering where exactly the Emerald Triangle is - the area in which the events in the documentary take place.

The series largely focuses on Humboldt County, where a man named Garrett Rodriguez - among several others - went missing from Rancho Sequoia, an area that became popular for marijuana farming in the late '70s. However, Humboldt is only one county in the area that encompasses the Emerald Triangle, a region that earned its name because it produces 60 percent of the marijuana grown in the Us, making it the largest cannabis-producing region in the country.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Lip Sync For Their Lives

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Lip Sync For Their Lives
Well that was just about as thrilling as we had hoped it would be.  Tonight, the four eliminated All Stars returned to RuPaul's Drag Race to lip sync for their lives against four of the still-competing queens, and it was truly an event to remember, even if there were a couple who did not come to slay as hard as they should have for this second chance.  Each of the eliminated queens had to choose one of last week's bottom four queens to go up against, while Manila and Monet remained safe.  First up was Jasmine, who was last to choose, so she ended up against Trinity with Ru's song "Peanut Butter." Jasmine clearly knew very few words other than "peanut butter," and so...

A New Ghostbusters Movie Is Coming, but There's 1 Thing That Makes It Really Special

This week, Entertainment Weekly broke some rather exciting news: there's a new Ghostbusters movie in the works! But there's a really exciting and nostalgic twist attached to this new production: it will be directed and co-written by Jason Reitman. If you're not familiar, his father, Ivan Reitman, directed the original Ghostbusters in 1984, as well as 1989's Ghostbusters II. "I've always thought of myself as the first Ghostbusters fan, when I was a six-year-old visiting the set. I wanted to make a movie for all the other fans," Reitman told EW. Talk about a full-circle moment.

To do you one better, Reitman plans to pick up right where his father left off. "This is the next chapter in the original franchise. It is not a reboot. What happened in the '80s happened in the '80s, and this is set in the present day." While this does mean he will discount the 2016 all-female entry,

True Detective: Here's What We Think Happens With Julie and Her Dad

True Detective, we hate to love you, and love to hate you. You leave us clawing to every minor detail, wondering if they're simply coincidences or major clues that will eventually lead us to the killer. Is the lack of punctuation in the ransom note an indicator of the killer's age or Iq? Does Julie Purcell's lingering stare to her father in the opening scene speak volumes about her relationship with her him? Is Steve McQueen's death meant to foreshadow a connection to a cult? Or is it simply to establish a timeline? What is the significance of the fact that Detective Hays incorrectly says there's a full moon on the night the children disappear? Is it to show his memory is fading, or something more sinister? And what about all the animal metaphors? Season three might be driving us a little crazy, but we'd be lying if
