‘Homecoming’: Could It Be a Beyoncé vs. Taylor Swift Rematch at the Emmys?
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter blessed the internet and the world on April 17, releasing a new Netflix film documenting her two 2018 Coachella performances, plus additional footage offering a glimpse into the iconic musician’s collaborative creative process. And indeed, it was very good.

The concerts – designed to celebrate the lasting legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities – were already guaranteed crowdpleasers, garnering more than 43 million views on YouTube in the last year, but what remains to be seen is whether or not the TV Academy will be similarly smitten with Beyoncé’s latest foray into the television sphere.

It’s not that the former Destiny’s Child star is unfamiliar with the Emmys. Beyoncé has four previous Emmy nominations, including nods for her 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show, 2015 HBO “On The Run Tour” concert film with husband Jay-z, as well as nominations for Variety Special and Direction of a Variety Special for 2016’s HBO visual album “Lemonade.

Why the Golden Company Is Such a Big F*cking Deal to Cersei on Game of Thrones
Warning: Got spoilers ahead! Proceed with caution.

The war between the two queens continues to heat up (literally) on Game of Thrones, even as a frozen, undead army descends from beyond the Wall.

Think back to the Loot Train Battle in the season seven episode "The Spoils of War" - Cersei deals with her first major defeat, but it might not have been a total failure for the Mad Queen in training. In that episode, Randyll Tarly notes that the gold the Lannister army takes from Highgarden is already safely within the walls of King's Landing. Cersei then uses that influx of gold to pay her debts and borrow enough money from the Iron Bank to hire the Golden Company. "Ok but what even is the Golden Company," you might ask? They are a sellsword company said to be 20,000 strong. Based in Essos, this band of exiles has a stellar

Kim Kardashian Claps Back at Criticism Over Working With Donald Trump
Kim Kardashian has heard people's criticism of her working with Donald Trump and she doesn't care about it, because she wants to save lives. Last June, the Republican U.S. leader, who is deeply unpopular in her home state of California, commuted the life sentence of Alice Johnson, who had been serving time in prison since 1996 for a first-time drug offense. He granted her clemency after Kardashian lobbied and met with him at the White House. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star later met Johnson after she was released on parole.  Kardashian, who recently announced that she is studying to become a lawyer, has continued to push for criminal...

How the Death of 1 Game of Thrones Character Could Fulfill 2 Prophecies

How the Death of 1 Game of Thrones Character Could Fulfill 2 Prophecies
Game of Thrones loves its prophecies, from the one about Cersei's death, to the one Varys heard as a child, to the many inscrutable predictions of Melisandre. However, there are two prophecies in Game of Thrones that may be more linked than we originally thought: the prophecy of Azor Ahai, and the prophecy given to Daenerys after the death of Khal Drogo.

In the mythology of Game of Thrones, Azor Ahai was a legendary hero that lived over five thousand years before the events that take place in the series. He fought against the darkness that lay over the world by forging Lightbringer, a flaming sword that he tempered with the blood of his beloved wife, whose soul merged with the sword, giving it its power. The prophecy of Azor Ahai states:

"There will come a day after a long Summer when the stars bleed and the cold breath of

Blast From the Past! The Fast and Furious Cast Have Changed a Lot Since Their First Red Carpet
Remember when the Fast and Furious cast was one big, happy family? Dwayne Johnson was "Uncle Hobbs" to Vin Diesel's kids, and all the guys got along. Ah, those were the good old days! Sadly, the franchise has been plagued by drama following a major rift between Dwayne and Vin, and we're still unsure if Dwayne will actually be in Fast 9 (we're really hoping he is). However, there is a bright side: three spinoffs are currently in the works! Dwayne, of course, has teamed up with Jason Statham for Hobbs and Shaw, while Vin recently announced plans for a female-led version. The third has yet to be revealed. Since we're still waiting for Fast 9 to drop, we're taking a walk down memory lane and looking back at the cast's red carpet evolution.

An Uncomfortable Reminder of How Daenerys and Jon Snow Are Related on Game of Thrones

An Uncomfortable Reminder of How Daenerys and Jon Snow Are Related on Game of Thrones
Incest-y spoilers for Game of Thrones below, so proceed with caution!

For so long, one of the biggest questions on the minds of Game of Thrones fans everywhere was that of Jon Snow's parents: who are they? Not Ned, and certainly not Catelynn, but his real parents.

Finally, after many seasons of speculation, Game of Thrones confirmed Lyanna Stark is indeed Jon Snow's mother in the season six finale. Then, in the season seven finale, we learn that Jon is a legitimate heir to the Iron Throne - he's the son of both Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryen, making him Ned Stark's nephew, not his son. This is a tragedy on many different levels - the first and most obvious being that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen are related. Though their connection is undeniable, boning your aunt is kind of a mood killer, you know?

As a reminder, Rhaegar

The 11 Most Important Encounters From the Game of Thrones Premiere - Ranked
The seventh season of Game of Thrones concluded dramatically, with the Night King blasting through the Wall using a newly undead Viserion. We've had to wait an agonizing two years to learn what happens following the game-changing events of "Beyond the Wall," but when we finally returned to Westeros, it was with a surprisingly subdued season eight premiere that was entirely absent of fiery confrontations. While we're sure we'll get to the shock-and-awe portion of the season soon enough, "Winterfell" seemed more concerned with setting the stage for the show's final act than with action and spectacle, packing its runtime full of first meetings and long-anticipated reunions that ran the gamut from heartfelt and emotional to tense, awkward, and downright hostile. Read on to see how we've ranked every dramatic encounter in "Winterfell," from the most resoundingly *womp womp* to the most emotionally satisfying.

It continues, "You should think of the word 'depressed' as 'deep rest.'  Your body needs to be...

The Sweet Significance Behind Jon Riding Rhaegal in the Game of Thrones Premiere

The Sweet Significance Behind Jon Riding Rhaegal in the Game of Thrones Premiere
Warning: Jon Snow-related spoilers below, so proceed with caution!

At the very least, I can say that the Game of Thrones season eight premiere contains no shortage of surprises. In addition to Euron and Cersei getting busy (after mourning the absence of those freakin' elephants), Jaime having an awkward run-in with Bran, and other long-awaited reunions, the first episode of the eighth season includes lovebirds Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen taking a goofy dragon ride through the Northern countryside.

The moment, though filled with cheesy dialogue and allusions to Aladdin's "A Whole New World" scene, is also a fairly important one: someone other than Dany is able to ride a dragon, y'all! Suddenly the Three Heads of the Dragon prophecy is seeming more important (and confusing) than ever. Jon's ability to tame and ride Daenerys's green-tinged dragon, Rhaegal, isn't necessarily a surprise - he essentially cuddles with Drogon back

Eminem Celebrates 11 Years of Sobriety With Powerful Instagram Post:
Eminem is celebrating a major accomplishment. The 47-year-old rapper shared a heartfelt tribute to his 11 years of sobriety on April 20. "Still not afraid," he wrote alongside an Instagram photo of his sobriety chip. The coin is a milestone marker and is engraved with the words "unity," "strength," and "recovery," as well as the phrase "To thine own self be true" and the Roman numeral "XI" to commemorate 11 years.

Eminem has been candid about his recovery over the years. Last year, he acknowledged his decade of sobriety through another Instagram post. He also detailed his struggle with substance abuse in his song lyrics and through media interviews. In 2015, he told Men's Journal he overdosed on pills in 2007, and found exercise to be a substitute for his addiction.

"When I got out of rehab, I needed to lose weight, but I also needed to figure out a way to function sober," he said.

Wondering Where to Stream Captain Marvel? Here’s Why It Won’t Be on Netflix
Not only is Captain Marvel the first female-fronted movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - which also went on to hit the box office with an estimated $153 million debut - but the Brie Larson-led flick will be the first to exclusively hit Disney's new streaming service, Disney+.

Disney announced back in November 2018 that it would be creating its own streaming service that exclusively owns all Disney titles. The service will include content from Disney's main studios, like Walt Disney Pictures, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and, of course, Marvel Studios. This means that all films within the McU will soon only be available on Disney+. So whatever films are currently on other streaming sites, like Netflix, will steadily be taken down leading up to the service's launch date.

On the plus side, fans won't have to wait long to watch the adventures of Carol Danvers and her adorable furry sidekick. Captain Marvel
